TapDeck Lite Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
TapDeck Lite is an offline Android shortcut keyboard that lets a user save up to 20 phrases or commands for quick insertion. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
Saved commands
The labels, commands, and key-vibration preference you configure are stored only in TapDeck Lite’s app-private storage on your device. They are used solely to display and operate the keyboard and insert the selected command into the text field you are using. Cloud backup is disabled. Removing the app removes this local configuration under normal Android behavior.
Keyboard input
TapDeck Lite does not record, retain, or transmit text entered using other keyboards or text already present in an application. It receives an Android input connection while selected so it can insert the command you explicitly tap.
Network and third parties
TapDeck Lite requests no Android permissions and contains no advertising, analytics, account, tracking, or social SDK. It has no Internet capability. No information is sent to the developer, Discord, OwO, or any other third party by TapDeck Lite.
When you use a saved command inside another app, that app processes the resulting message under its own privacy policy and terms, just as it would process text entered with a normal keyboard.
Device capabilities
TapDeck Lite does not use the clipboard, Accessibility Service, camera, microphone, media library, contacts, location, or cloud backup.
Children
Because TapDeck Lite does not collect information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Affiliation
TapDeck Lite is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official product of Discord or OwO.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected here and in the app’s release notes with a revised date.
